I'm a physiotherapist but not registered with the Australian body and from what I gather it's a rather long process. Before working as a Physiotherapist I worked with children and young adults with metal and physical disabilities and gained my NVQ level3 in health and social care and medication certificate. I got a job here straight away doing care in the community, this might be something you can look at starting in whilst you get everything sorted for other positions.
