I am a barber/Hairdresser with my own Business as a Barber,I have a agent from Immigration2oz working we me for a 190 Visa , I am also looking for find out if I tried to contact for Barbers about Sponsorship if I could do it that way instead , But also doing my Hairdressing Skills Assessment for my points as Barbering is not on ANZCO listing. VERYSTORMY Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 There is nothing stopping you applying for jobs and hoping for a sponsorship. Though, you would have to be aware sponsorship is usually only a temporary visa and it comes with a lot of issues. For example, it is tied to the employer and if you lose that job for any reason, you only have 90 days to find another or leave the country.
