sami
My parents are coming to visit in December and I wanted to apply for the e-visa for them. Just realized that I need to set up an Immi account. I wonder if I could use my usual/old account that I used to apply for my visa or should I set up a different account. They mention "you need to be out of Australia to apply for this visa". Technically I'm here but would be applying for my parents who are overseas. Hope I don't get into trouble, but my parents are too worried about doing it themselves and getting things wrong! Anyone done it this way?
Quinkla
You would be better off setting up a new account. But the eVisitor process is so easy that it is pretty much impossible to get it wrong. It only asks the same questions your parents will have to fill in on their landing cards - and you won;t be able to do that for them. I would encourage them to give it a go themselves before you step in to help.
sami
Thanks Quinkla. I'll try get a younger person to help them out on the other side.
