creating an immi account

Hi there,

 

Looking to create an immi account for my daughters( 5yrs old ) citizenship by decent application. Do I create it in my name, or hers? I assume mine, but just want to double check it.

Also next year we will be applying for my partners defacto visa, can we use the same immi account, or would she need one in her name?

I expect it will be in the child's name as its her application. And your partner will need another account as its a different application.

You or your partner can open an immi account and do the citizenship by descent under that same account. ( assuming your partner is parent of said child)

that of my partner I figured would be like that, but wasn't sure with my daughter only being 5..

thanks, I'll open an account under my name and apply for her citizenship that way
