aconcannon
My husband & I have our shipping booked with Anglo Pacific. We're not sure if to go with their insurance option or to buy our own? We're shipping around 10 tea cartons, a TV & a few smaller boxes. No furniture. Ideally we just want to do whatever is cheapest! Can anybody recommend any companies or give me an idea of prices please? I can't seem to find any comparison type sites online in the way you get ones for car insurance etc. Thanks in advance
NicF
Have a look at Letton Percival or Insure Your Move. Both much cheaper and better to deal with than going through the shipping company.
bqjt
I used Letton percival, and my move cube is on its way. They were very easy and straightforward to deal with so far. Keep in mind, there is a minimum £100 insurance premium, so even if you are sending items less than worth £10,000, you will pay that, but insurance is worth it. Premium is calculated at roughly 1% of declared value.
