dragon
My 33 year old daughter is about to receive her PhD from Sydney in September, when this happens her academic visa will run out, she will have been there for 19 months. She isn't eligible for the usual work visa because of her age. Does anyone know of any other route she might take in order to stay in the country. She would like to stay in Australia and continue to apply for work in her chosen field rather than come back to the UK and apply from a distance. Thank you in advance. PomCop
Hi. She can apply for the Graduate Visa (http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/485-) which allows the international student to stay in Australia after their graduation. Look at if she can apply for it on the "Eligibility Requirements" section.
