Captain Roberto
we also used - http://www.go-walkabout.co.uk/ seemed ok, and suited to our needs. Went on the phone to them and asked a load of questions. they seemed ok.
srh82
Depends on your personal circumstances. If you are using a low cost airline for any part of your journey I would, but otherwise I wouldn't bother!
NicF
If you are prepared to take the risk that something might happen to you or your flight between the UK and Australia then don't bother. If you are happy to pay any hospital bills you may incur if anything happens on your stop over, or the cost of diverting your flight if anything happens on board, or don't mind if all your luggage goes missing or gets damaged or can forfeit the cost of your flight if something happens to you in the UK between now and when you fly meaning you can't fly out when you planned then go without. Of course none of these things may happen and you will probably get from now until you land with no mishaps what so ever but personally I wouldn't want to take that chance.
