Joachim
Hi Just wondering is there a form to be completed for the PCC or do I just contact the police department in the country (Ireland) and request a statement? Also do I need to get this statement certified before I upload it? Thanks in advance for any help
Ozmaniac
You need a ‘Police Certificate of Character’. If you're a non-resident, you apply by post to the Superintendent in charge of the district covering your former place of residence in Ireland. Residents apply in person to the local Garda station. http://www.immi.gov.au/Help/Locations/Pages/Ireland.aspx
Joachim
Hi Ozmaniac I got one today and it's titled Police Certificate and just states that I along with my date of birth and address have not been convicted of any crime while residing in Ireland Its signed stamped and dated by the superintendent Is this sufficient do you think? I just want to make sure before I upload it
Ozmaniac
It sounds like the right thing but your CO will let you know if they need anything else. You can upload a colour scan of the original without needing to have it certified.
