Hi All Just wondering are there any other accountants out there finding it hard to secure a role in accountancy? I've been looking for a few weeks and have signed up with recruitment agencies etc to look on my behalf and thought I would've got something by now but unfortunately I haven't. I'm on seek every day and not sure what else I could be doing? Is anyone in the same situation or does anyone have any advise for me to secure an accountancy role? Any help is appreciated

Hi Your post was informative but just wondering could you please give me a hand/advise on the process involved for 189 visa for electricians? I'm helping my friend with his and just not sure where to start as there seems to be a bit more work if you have a trade? I presume we have to get his skills assessed, but who can do this and for electrician's is there an exam to do? I'm assuming this will be the most difficult part of the process and once the above is complete its just straight forward put in an EOI and wait to be invited? Any help is appreciated

I just rang the immi number n asked to speak to my Co but it was basically the operator putting me on hold going to co then back to me 2 mins later visa granted drinking champers ere

Hi All I just got my grant so so happy got email this morning looking for PCC for UK as my company was based there but I never lived there so I called IMMI and they said I didn't need one and that case officer would finalise application two mins later i got email with the grant Applied 27 Feb and then added second applicant 2 April We both got the grants so so happy

Hi i was wondering if anyone has had to complete a statutory declaration regarding the history of your relationship ive only been with my partner for 12 months but I'm not sure what exactly we need to put on the declaration and how I can make sure that I have everything correct any help at all is appreciated

He is my partner and at the time of application I said that I was in a de facto relationship the only reason I didn't include him was because I thought it would take longer to get his documentation together but now we have all documents together and I want to include him, I thought u could include up until the visa decision is made also we got our relationship registered, we have joint bank account, Bday cards, Xmas cards from each other's families as well as wedding invites he's on a 457 visa but including him on my visa will enable him to get PR a lot easier than the 457 route im just not sure of the process from here on in, can anyone please advise?

Hopefully someone can give me some advice I've applied for my 189 and everything uploaded including PCC and medicals and now I want to add my partner I'm just wondering where do I upload all his documents, do I upload in same places that I uploaded mine or do I need to put all his in a separate place? I really want to do this correctly as to avoid any delays in the process so any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi Just wondering do I need to submit a copy of my emedical information sheet into the health evidence section or is the fact that it says 'health has been finalised' sufficient?

Hi Ozmaniac I got one today and it's titled Police Certificate and just states that I along with my date of birth and address have not been convicted of any crime while residing in Ireland Its signed stamped and dated by the superintendent Is this sufficient do you think? I just want to make sure before I upload it

Hi Just wondering is there a form to be completed for the PCC or do I just contact the police department in the country (Ireland) and request a statement? Also do I need to get this statement certified before I upload it? Thanks in advance for any help

Hi I submitted my visa application 28th Feb and now I want to add my partner and just wondering can anyone please advise me As far as I can make out all I need to do is submit both a change of circumstances form and adding a partner form along with a medical, PCC for my partner and pay the application fees but is this all that I need to complete or are there other things involved? Any help is appreciated
