KirstenofOz
Hi All, First post, so apologies for any faux pas! I am a dual national (born in WA, British by descent) living in the UK. I am sponsoring hubby-to-be (Hubby by the time his visa comes we hope!) on a 309 visa, which by all accounts won't be through until November 2015 at the earliest, and could be February 2016 at the latest. I'm a chartered accountant, so given my citizenship status, I'm hoping to start job hunting prior to OH's visa award (especially as I have to give 3 month's notice at my current job). If it helps, we are hoping to move to the suburbs of Melbourne. I just wondered if anyone could advise how early is too early to start hunting around/sending resumes and speaking to recruiters? Thanks so much, really appreciate your input!
Bungo
I wouldn't bother much before a few weeks in advance.

Careers Down Under
We usually assist people with their approaches from 8 weeks pre-arrival and that seems to work most of the time.
