MrsA
Hi EVeryone, my hubby and I are coming to Melbourne in April this year. I like walking in my spare time however I would say I'm at an amateur level. Does anyone know if there are any walking clubs to join in Melbourne. Many thanks mrsa

starlight7
If you are older, (over 50) many of the local U3A groups also have walking groups- and cost nothing except the original joining fee covering however many subjects you do. Also Probus clubs often have walking groups. The one I go to has walks every Monday round different Melbourne parks, e.g. Warrandyte, Westerfolds Park, Blackburn Lake, Mt Lofty and walking tracks. There are about 35 of us and we walk for an hour then pile into a local cafe for coffee and a chat.
