pj183600
I eventually found my birth certificate and realized my parents were too tight to pay for the full version which has their names on it. Anyone know if you can get a replacement which has their names on it? If I can't what other documents can I use to verify my identity? Do I have to supply this bearing in mind I am the one being nominated by me employer and I have full UK passport?
smokingmuppetts
I recently moved from a 457 to ENS 186 and did not in either application provide a birth certificate. I used my passport in both instances.
Suzukiscottie
I had to supply a full birth certificate. I too only had an abbreviated certificate after the full certificate went missing in the post somewhere. My MA insisted that a full certificate was mandatory. I just phoned my old Council registrars department, explained the situation, and they sent me a duplicate new full certificate for the princely sum of about £10 paid over the phone with my credit card. It arrived in Melbourne in less than a week.
lebourvellec
Birth certificates are part of public record and anyone can request one.
pj183600
My Mother yesterday went to the local registry office and got a full birth certificate with their names on it. It looks like it is a copy of the original handwritten certificate. Will it be ok that it is handwritten?
