Thistle87
Hi all, newbie here! i have got a job I WA and I am moving from the uk for it. my sponsorship nomination by the company has been accepted. Does anyone one know if I have to complete a skills assessment as the criteria to apply for one says that I have to be in a nominated occupation (which I am) AND hold a passport from a nominated country (uk isn't on the list) i have ate sent some emails to providers but response times are pretty long. Not wanting to waste $2000 applying for it if it's not required. any info would be great. :notworthy:

MaggieMay24
If your nominated occupation is "Project and Program Administrator" or "Specialist Manager not elsewhere classified" you will need a skills assessment. Or if you're in a nominated trade occupation and hold a passport from a nominated country then you need a skills assessment (sounds like you found this link based on your original post). Otherwise one isn't needed.
