Bteam Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 Hi guys, I do hope someone can help me although I have been told it is not really possible to get a visa... So i'm 38 years old (39 in April) my wife is 36 and we have 3 year old son. I am a City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumber, also recently Gas Safe Certified. I got my Level 2 Plumbing qualification in June 2014 and I have been Plumbing for 3 years. I have been told I need to have a Level 3 NVQ qualification plus 5 years experience as my current qualification counts for nothing, does anyone know if this is true? Prior to becoming a Plumber I was in Sales and Marketing with no qualifications. My wife is a teacher with a 4 year Higher Diploma in Education, she has over 10 years experience but its in Primary school not a demand in Oz at this time. We've explored this option but it sounds like a dead end for us too. If you could help me with some info for our Ozzie dream it would be hugely appreciated. calNgary Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Hi Bryan Id ring a company like Go Matilda or Visa Bureau and they will tell you exactly what visa, if any you qualify for with your experience / qualifications.
