My Wife and I are moving to Brisbane in early December on a 189 PR visa. I just thought I'd ask as i'm not getting many responses from the companies I've applied with, probably because I'm not there yet! My wife Lizzie, our 2 Children Elliott (2) and Violet (4 months) and I are moving to Queensland at the end of August/ early September on a 189 visa. We are looking to live in a northern gold coast suburb (we like the look of Genesis in Coomera or Riverstone crossing in Maudsland) in the hope I will be able to get work at either a brisbane or gold coast based company. I am a refrigeration service engineer with 8 years in the trade working on 80% commercial air conditioning, 20% refrigeration. Any info and advice on finding work would be greatly appreciated!
