Ozmaniac
You notify DIBP of your new passport details on Form 929 http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/929.pdf

I went to Oz embassy in Berlin and got new visa put in my passport on the spot. It took a morning but was sorted. Good luck.

Quinkla
There's heaps of time between now and November for the postal service to work its magic. These kind of changes to details are processed immediately on receipt. By the bye, new visa labels have gone up in price to $120 each. I am not sure how this can be justified as it is clearly more than the cost of printing a label and visa application processes are priced separately. But it is enough to make you wonder whether you really want one (which is obviously the intention).
Adsie
Thanks my old passport didn't have a label, was all electronic, just need the visa linked to my new passport , I'll see if I can do it from London, just so it's done, if not put it in the post the same day (monday)
