bobo
At 15:42 I was logging in to check the status when my wife came in and said, “Don’t bother – I already checked a short while ago.” I nevertheless finished pressing the keys and got the standard message ‘In Progress’. At 16:48 I received the IMMI Grant Notification email: ‘visas have been granted on 30 October’. Best wishes to all those still waiting! Bob & Family. Sorry, I should have repeated the dates: Employer nomination 30 June (University); acknowledged 30 June; Immi.gov.au Lodgement page states application submitted and fee paid 12 July; all health/ Form 80/ etc, etc pre-loaded; employer nomination approved 21 October. No correspondence at all between 12 July and today (except via employer on the 21st) but now I don't mind so much ;-) (Apologies to those still on edge whilst they wait.) bobo
In the few weeks since ours came through I've purchased a 4x4 and camping trailer (Fraser Island in a couple of weekends time); my UK house goes on the market in their spring; and I have the permanent Medicare card. PR becomes the new normal very quickly!! Edited November 19, 2014 by bobo
