supdoc
I am currently on a 457. In order to apply for training in 2016 I need to be a permanent resident by April 2015. I studied Med in australia and I'm currently working as an intern. When I complete my intern year (Jan 2015) I can get my full medical registration which allows me to apply for the 189 visa. Looking at the charts I think I am eligible for 70+ points but I have a few questions. My main goal is to ensure I get the visa before April 2015 so I want to do everything I can to speed up the process. Expected dates for evidence. Medical Registration - Jan 2015 IELTS - Aug 2014 PCC - Jan 2015 Medical - Can do whenever When should I submit an EOI given I won't be considered skilled until Jan 2015? Can I submit it now and then my application sits on hold until I can provide evidence or do I need to wait until I am qualified?
VERYSTORMY
You need to wait until you are qualified. You will also need a skills assessment and you need to check what is required in order to pass the skills assessment. You may need a period of experience that is post qualified. supdoc
Thanks VS. Since I studied and have trained in Australia all I need for skills assessment is full registration which I will receive in January. The timeline is going to be a little scary but hopefully I can get everything ready between now and then and be ready to go come January.
