The Immigration Department has announced that as of the 1st of July there will be a Policy change to the way it assesses the 2 year work requirement under the Temporary Resident Transitional pathway of the Employer Nomination and Regional Sponsored Migration Schemes (ENS and RSMS).

The change will benefit those where they have been sponsored by a business that has undergone a change in the form of restructures, takeovers and/or sale, which has required the transfer of their 457 visa to a new entity.
