Sign up with Australian construction recruiters like Hays.com.au, designandbuild.com.au , Marble.com.au, Constructioncareers.com.au Don't wait till they advertise a job you want. You'll get better results if you walk into their offices and register. Register with their temp divisions and be willing to take contract work - often that's the best way to get your foot in the door, and get over the problem of not having Australian experience. Have you tried ringing the company after a failed application and asking for feedback as to why you didn't get the job? Have you had someone look at your CV?
