As part of the requirements, I already have requested for a professional reference from my previous manager, to be able to apply for ANMAC skills assessment. I sent her the example on the ANMAC website but she did not seem to know what to do. Could someone be so kind to send me some examples of their professional references, I would greatly appreciate it. Freesia Posted March 16, 2014 Share Posted March 16, 2014 People might be a bit reluctant to do that- but meanwhile you obviously have some inkling yourself from your research of what's expected- so draft it yourself using the guidelines you've found & send it to her ? Kapri Posted March 16, 2014 Share Posted March 16, 2014 The guidelines are fairly clear on the Anmac website. For mine, I drafted it and my manager tweaked it. It's a professional reference, stating what your job involved, not a personal reference (how good you were at it) so most people would be happy for you to do this, I expect.
