Greg Dev
Hi All I have a current application for a 457 processing and as such have Bridging Visa A while I await a decision. I have to travel to the Philippines for work this weekend and I'm too late to get a response from Immigration. Is it possible to leave the country on Bridging Visa A, then while abroad, apply for Bridging Visa B so that I can come back (in 2 weeks) I haven't found anyone in a similar situation thus far. I know I should have gotten Bridging Visa B prior to travel but this is a last minute requirement. Thanks for any help.
blossom
No, you have to get it before you go.
carlhall
I have to agree with Blossom, you must apply for the visa before you leave Australia.
MaggieMay24
No, you must apply and be granted the BVB before you leave. If you leave on your BVA you may not be able to re-enter Australia.
