samdom1 Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Hi All, has anybody got any experience of drug calculations exam in inductions...I am not worried just unsure of what might be expected and as we dont calculate drip rates (all electronic kit preprogrammed and we simply check) I was interested in your experiences of levels of knowledge required...I can certainly do drip rate calcualtions etc but would to swot up if test required... nic1171 Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I haven't done drip rates for at least 10yrs but had to sit a test for an agency which included calculating one! It depends on the giving set I guess and the exam I got gave the drip rate. Per min thing. I passed albeit stressed to the hilt and didn't even end up working for that particular agency!
