Lucyjh3287
How long after my medical could I be waiting for an entry date? I keep hearing many things... Has anyone been through it recently on a partner visa?
Bronyaur
When did you submit your application and have you already had the medical?

Bronyaur
Thats quite quick after the initial application, providing the police checks are around the same time, i would say you'll probably get the grant mid August/September, which is on par for the processing time. if you've provided all the info requested by your CO it shouldn't be a problem. Bronyaur
It will come round quickly and remember you have 12 months from date of medicals/police check to enter Australia and validate your visa. Youll be there before you know it.
vickyplum
the time frame stated in your first letter from CO, is pretty accurate, and doesn't generally change/get quicker or slower. I applied for defacto visa in August 2013 and was told to expect 8-9 month wait.
lebourvellec
Offshore partner visas are currently taking 8-9 months. You first entry date will be on your grant letter usually the earliest date of medicals or police checks.
