Elaine Cunningham
Does anyone on here already have a family sponsored 489 visa and are are already working? My question is - can you live and work in a designated area i.e. the whole of WA because it's a family sponsored visa? I know state sponsored are slightly different. Thanks in advance. Elaine Cunningham
I phoned immigration this morning and they confirmed that the 8549 condition is for 489 family sponsored visas and means you can live and work anywhere in WA. The 8539 is the condition noted on the 489 state sponsored visa that means the individuals need to work and live in regional areas in WA (not good!). Hi do you mind elaborating the the 8539 and 8549 conditions? I tried a search on immi website but came up blank.
mintpro
Yes that isn't good. In all my research I must of skipped over that part. That might just change my mind to do the 190. The extra 5 points for the 489 was the reason I preferred it.
