  1. I phoned immigration this morning and they confirmed that the 8549 condition is for 489 family sponsored visas and means you can live and work anywhere in WA. The 8539 is the condition noted on the 489 state sponsored visa that means the individuals need to work and live in regional areas in WA (not good!).
  2. Does anyone on here already have a family sponsored 489 visa and are are already working? My question is - can you live and work in a designated area i.e. the whole of WA because it's a family sponsored visa? I know state sponsored are slightly different. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi guys we got our visa this morning. Started the process in feb, submitted visa 16 June and got grant today ??? Good luck to those of u still waiting x
  4. Hello, I keep seeing people who have applied for a 489 visa and then submit an application for a 189 or 190 visa...how does that work? I'm assuming they don't have enough points so apply for 489 in the first place so how can they then apply for a 189 or 190? Thanks Elaine
  5. Ps. I'd get ur police checks sent away and medicals booked just now if ur in a major hurry... do all u can to help speed it up ?
  6. We done ours before we got a case officer just to hurry things along and basically front loaded our application. We're really hoping for the same timescale tbh, everything crossed!! ?
  7. Hi. We submitted ours on 16 June and know we're I'm the final stages but not sure if we'll get it this year or not. Are u using an agent? Have you been told anything about waiting times?
  8. I know its murder!!! Positive thinking :-)
  9. Most likely yes. U can phone whoever completed your meds and asked what u were graded. If u were graded a B u will have been referred. :-)
