BobPetairUK Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Hey JP If you are going in one year, then get your cat a rabies vaccination and then 3-4 weeks later a rabies bloods sample just so it is good and set. Perth has been fully closed now and so your cat will need to go to Sydney and then do an internal flight. The quarantine has been reduced to 10 days, so it is not as bad as it sounds. Also ref costs - by the time you have paid for quarantine and all (rabies work, permits, final checks, vet work, transport etc) it will be around £1700-£1900.
