aduffield76
Hi all, We have recently moved to Edithvale and are looking to enroll our 2 kids in swimming lessons. they were avid swimmers back in the UK and before they join nippers, we want to get them back up to speed with their swimming. does anyone know of any good clubs/lessons/teachers? cheers Andy
Petals
There is a gym over in Dingley that has a pool and many many many moons ago we used to take our children there for lessons. I believe its still there as one of my Facebook friends goes swimming there. Then thee is the public pool in Mordialloc we used to take them there as well. http://www.goodlifehealthclubs.com.au/Clubs/VIC/Dingley/ http://www.localfitness.com.au/don-tatnell-leisure-centre-mordialloc/gym-sports-facilities#sports-section Good luck
PomCat
I have heard that the swimming pool at the Dingley Gym is currently closed for renovations but I'm not certain. In ay case, the OP could also checkout Toby Haenen for swim lessons in the Edithvale area or the Waterlions Club at Haileybury PS for lessons/competition. marinsdad
Toby Haenen in Chelsea Heights is good. Both my kids have regular lessons there both privately and with their Primary school and my wife is an instructor there (so a little biased!) Haenens is on Wells Road 5 mins from Edithvale. Parley
Approach the pool when you move in and they will have lessons. Also they should have them at school also in primary school.
