Christwed
Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out here, I have done my farm/wwoofing work to qualify for my 2nd year visa. But I am leaving Australia before I want to lodge my visa. Does anyone know if I need to get my paperwork signed from justice of the peace before I leave or not? Couple have people have told me I do and also been told I don't need to. Can anyone clear this up for me please. Thanks in advance
carlhall
Hi, Not 100% sure but I would urge on the side of caution and get as much evidence certified as you can. It may save a lot of bother when you come to apply.
Guest The Pom Queen
Agree with Carl I don't know either but its free to get them certified by a JP here so make the most of it
tingtongman
should I get my 1263 form and references signed by JOP too? I don't plan to use my 2nd year visa for another 2 years. Would I need to show them my bank statements and rent receipts too? please advice.
Bobj
Agree with Carl I don't know either but its free to get them certified by a JP here so make the most of it As far as I understand, JP's are not allowed to claim payment as it is a civic duty. Had that explained to me by a JP. Cheers, Bobj
