adaminoz
Hi all. I want to apply for PR after 2 years on 457 with my current employer. My question is, i've had 2 457s covering the 2 years. My first 457 was for 2 years, and I got a 2nd 457 before my first expired just to get me over the line with the 2 year limit. Both 457s were with same emplyer with same job. Is this going to be a problem when applying for PR ?
adaminoz
I have only worked fot 1 employer in Australia. For 2.5 years total but the first 6 months on working holiday. Excluding the working holiday I've been on a 457 for 2 years in Feb, which is when I will apply, but I worried that because I had to extend by 457 during the 2 years... Thanks for the help, it's much appreciated.
oppyddrum
i dont believe that should be a problem. it is always easier when you have been with the same employer the whole time, which you have, so i believe you should be fine.
