shukar Posted October 29, 2013 Share Posted October 29, 2013 I am looking to apply for the visitor visa of my mother and have noticed that she is eligible for a long duration visa as per http://www.immi.gov.au/visas/visitor/600/applicants.htmshe she had visited Australia earlier and met have visa conditions so she is eligible to apply for a 3 year visa however form 1419 http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1419.pdf has me confused it asks three questions with regard to the duration/stay - I am not sure what to fill in them when applying for this visa 1st question is When do you wish to visit Australia? - from and to dates - do I fill in three years here? 2nd question How long do you wish to stay in Australia? - it only gives option of 3,6 and 12 months and is this duration max visit per stay ? 3rd Question is Do you intend to enter Australia on more than one occasion?that would be yes, but I don't of the details of the additional visits with me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Linday Posted October 29, 2013 Share Posted October 29, 2013 As I understand it this visitor visa for parents allows visits of up to 12 months in any 18 month period, so the length of the first visit presumably cannot be more than this. I would think question three is just a yes or no answer, presumably yes, since the point of applying for the three year visa would be to allow more than one visit without having to apply for a visa again.
