not sure .. to apply for e600 you need an immi account and from its faq's Anyone can create an ImmiAccount to submit and manage visa and citizenship applications online. This includes any of the following: individual applicants (whether you are in Australia or outside of Australia) a family member acting on behalf of the applicant https://www.border.gov.au/Lega/Lega/Form/Immi-FAQs/who-can-create-immiaccount I am also applying for the sponsored tourist visa so it seems reasonable if I apply on their behalf from form 1149 How to sponsor your visitor If an application is being made for a Visitor visa – Sponsored Family stream: • each of your visitors will need to complete a separate form 1418 Application for a Visitor visa – Sponsored Family streamor form 1419 internet. • to make an application you should lodge form 1418 and this form 1149 at one of the processing centres in Australia according to your address at the time of lodgement.

Can a sponsor who is onshore in Australia apply for E600 visa for his overseas family by registering an immiaccount under his name? or can the sponsor only apply via snail mail to his nearest immigration office?

309 Temporary spouse visa about to expire

thanks I have called diac and they will mail out the forms to me I will wait for the mail and hopefully it will have the details on the new visa application procedure -
I was granted 309 Temporary spouse visa in Feb 2013 and have been living in Australia since the grant (also had a baby here with my partner) the 309 visa is about to expire now which visa subcalass do it apply for now? and I have read that the department sends you a letter with the details and invites you to apply I did not recieve any letter (I doubt that DIAC had my Australian address) do I need to ring up DIAC and ask themt to send the letter or do I apply for the permanenet visa anyway? and do we have to pay a hefty fee again?

I am looking to apply for the visitor visa of my mother and have noticed that she is eligible for a long duration visa as per http://www.immi.gov.au/visas/visitor/600/applicants.htmshe she had visited Australia earlier and met have visa conditions so she is eligible to apply for a 3 year visa however form 1419 http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1419.pdf has me confused it asks three questions with regard to the duration/stay - I am not sure what to fill in them when applying for this visa 1st question is When do you wish to visit Australia? - from and to dates - do I fill in three years here? 2nd question How long do you wish to stay in Australia? - it only gives option of 3,6 and 12 months and is this duration max visit per stay ? 3rd Question is Do you intend to enter Australia on more than one occasion?that would be yes, but I don't of the details of the additional visits with me

Amz how did you do your medical without 1st lodging the application? did IOM give you a copy of the results which you attached with the application ?

don't think so form 47sp says that "If already undertaken, you should include results of your health and character checks" http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/47sp.pdf
