mpatel1972
Hi all, I am looking to apply for the state nominationed visa (190). I have 55 points which includes 10 points from IELTS General test. According to my occupation, I must sit the General test and achieve minimum 7s which I have. I've sat this test twice and it's proving hard to get the 8 in Reading in order to get the 8s to get this 20 points. My question, do I need to get the 8s in General test or can I get the 8s in the Academic test? Not too sure how this 20 points in english test really works. Please advice. nic1171
For points purposes it can be from either academic or general. However the reading tends to be a lot more difficult in the academic version, I've done both
