francy Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Hi not been on here in a while. hubby has just heard he's passed all the Vetassess (he's a general plumber) he needs to do the IELTS to get his points up (his sister lives in Sydney but can't claim her points) , does he do the academic test or general and what score will he need? and do we have to wait for him to pass this before we apply for the visa? thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for score depends how much points you need 7's in all sections will give 10 points - 8's will give 20 points. You will need to wait until have results before being able to lodge valid EOI.
