The damage is not severe and I won't be using it until we move to Oz (pending visa approval) but I'm not risking not being able to get on a flight. Incata Posted October 5, 2013 Share Posted October 5, 2013 You can make an application for a new passport and keep the same number if it has been damaged. Talk to the passport office. If you want to change it it is easy enough and you then fill in a form to let the DIAC know. You will have to fill it in even if you wait for the visa to be granted (if you get a new passport).
