Best way to contact DIAC before CO assigned

I've been waiting for a CO to be assigned for over 12 weeks now and not a dicky bird. I've submitted pcc and have medicals booked but wanted to speak to someone about my stepson as we still need to arrange his medicals and pcc (if he will agree!) However, can't find anywhere where I can contact them only by phone. If this is the only way then I guess I need to stay up late or get up early as they are only open 9:00-4:00. Anyone else had to wait this long? They say not to book medicals until CO is assigned but this is gettting ridiculous so have done it anyhow.
