mfarrell87
HI Guys, We are at the stage of applying for our WA state sponsorship, our agent emailed some of things we need to include in the application, scary to say the least!! is the application as bad as it looks? Agent also said that they recommend having 30,000-35,000$ before we make the move, do they look for evidence of this coz if they do we will have to do some serious saving!! we are just looking for some feedback from people who have already completed the application thanks
kaiser
Hi you don't actually need any documents for the state sponsorship. If you are going for WA they will invite you to apply through SkillSelect after you submit your EOI. The documents will be for the main visa application. Our experience of WA SS was an invite to apply the day after we submitted the EOI. There is then a questionnaire/"test" to complete which is just to make sure you have researched WA. Once that was completed we got the confirmation the next day, returned the signed form and then got the invite to apply for the actual visa the day after. So all pretty quick. In terms of funds, they don't ask for proof. Good luck.
wrussell
do they look for evidence of this coz if they do we will have to do some serious saving!! As a rule WA do not; but do not provide ANY false information that might find its way to the DIAC.
ConfusedBrit
Hi Apologies for jumping on your thread - Kaiser have you applied for a 190 Visa for WA? We've had our invite to apply and our agent has now applied for our visa. We've paid our $200 but not done the test/questionnaire on WA yet as waiting for info. We're also waiting for the form to sign. I just wondered what your timescales were like? it sounds like the WA test is quite easy?

WA test is easy - you can find all the info easily. You need to get 60% for the each section but if you don't get that you just redo it. The process took literally days for the WA SS. Each thing followed daily.
