nerakneds
Hey! My query is regarding the application for the 457 visa. I have an offer of employment and my employer has lodged the 457 visa application on my behalf. I have not completed the personal online application as yet as I am awaiting the TRN. I will be travelling to Australia next week, likely before I lodge the personal application. I know that one can apply for the 457 visa in Australia, however will I be able to do so whilst on a tourist visa? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! lebourvellec
Depends on the conditions of your tourist visa if you can lodge onshore. If you have no further stay condition on visitors visa, then no you can not lodge application onshore.
nerakneds
Thanks you for the prompt replies! Would all visitor visas generally have a 'no further stay' condition on them?
