Criminal record question

And no it's not me lol I'm a good girl lol. If you apply with a criminal record for a 676 visa and get it (6 months after the conviction) do you think that it will be a problem when applying for a PR visa in the future? X

No. If you have a criminal record, either Australia will decide it doesn't want you on its shores under any circumstances or it will decide it will accept you. If you (or your friend ;) )have racked up prison sentences of 12 months or more then it is a problem - otherwise you are OK. The type of visa doesn't matter.

Then it would not count as a "substantial criminal record" for the purposes of the character test.

That's great, I did wonder if because they were allowed in on a 676 that it can't have been that big a problem for immigration even if it was only 6 months after the conviction xx Thanks so much for you help xx
