Big Bald Biker
Simple question - is it possible I am just over a year into my 457 and am trying to sort out my options. Thanks in advance Jason Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Ozmaniac
Provided you meet the other requirements for the visa in question (186 ENS or 187 RSMS), age isn't a problem until you turn 50. Hopefully you still have a year or so until then.
TeeTMI
You can apply for any permanent visa you are eligible for - take a look at Employer sponsored - either now or via the 2 year transitional stream Skilled Independent - check if you meet the points (there is a calculator on the DIAC web site - also one on my web site) Age 50 is the current cut off age (with a few exceptions). rammygirl
AS long as you apply before 50 you will be OK.
Ozmaniac
Only the main applicant must be under 50 - doesn't matter how old their partner is. If your wife has skills that are eligible for a visa so that she can be the main applicant, you could still be eligible to apply for a few more years.
