Everyones timelines vary of different reasons, DIAC state that it will take up to 8 weeks for 189 to get a CO, as you are front loading your medicals and police checks, if CO does not require any other documents you will likely never hear from CO. Also if medicals are referred it can take up to 3 months for them to be finalised. Also depends how much verification of your application your CO will require some people in HR countries can take longer for this to happen. They might need more information to verify work experience, defacto relationship, there is no way of knowing up to your co to decide if you have submitted enough evidence.
