I want to extend my stay once my WHV finishes and so I am going to apply for a tourist visa (subclass 600). I have been informed that I may not be automatically granted the tourist visa, especially since it follows my WHV. I am wondering if anyone knows whether there will be more chance of success if I apply from outside the country as opposed to applying on-shore. Any advice/info would be much appreciated.
