RobinVanPersie
I looked through a lot of threads but cannot find the answer. My question is. Do my Irish documents like my birth cert, police clearance and qualification docs have to be certified in Ireland? The problem is I got my brother to post them out to me thinking I could certify them here. Could I colour scan them and get him to print it off, get them certified and then post it back to me? I'm so confused what docs need to be certified and who can certify them?

mattybe
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/further-information.htm You don't need them certifying for, just colour scans. I didnt have any docs certified for DIAC and it was fine. I did have to have some certified for my skills assessment. Sonasdog
Guess it depends on the CO as we had to resend all our colour docs as scanned certified copies which to me seems stupid as they become copies of certified copies rather than copies of the originals. Anyway we used the local Police station who happily stamped them and signed them as true copies plus it was free of charge.
