goingdownunder
Hi all I just wondered if anyone has recently gone through a RPL as a Business Analyst with the ACS? I'm currently in Brisbane on a 457 visa with another 12 months before I can apply for PR and avoid a skills assessment. I have the necessary 8 years experience to submit the RPL but have read / heard that it's a bit of a nightmare. I thought that the RPL would focus on demonstrating practical application of one of the Knowledge Areas from the CBOK; for a BA this is primarily the Problem Solving and Modelling KA, but having read the form it looks like they want you to demonstrate knowledge across all of the Knowledge Areas. If anyone has been through it recently and got a positive or negative outcome, it would be great to hear from you. I'm really in two minds as to whether the effort and cost of the RPL is worth out, or if I just stick it out for a further 12 months on the 457 and hope DIAC don't change the rules. Thanks M
