chriscici
Hi all, I know that on a 189 you have up to a year after police checks to validate and 5 years from the same date to settle, does the same apply for the 489? cheers chris
lebourvellec
No, you still have to validate but the visa is valid for 4 years and you need to meet the requirements for the 887 of living for 2 years and working for 1 years full time. You can only get 1 year extension if you need more time to meet requirements for 887. Therefore you can't delay the move much if going on provisional visa.
