msaad
Hi, I am planning to apply for immigration under subclass 489. I have couple of queries regarding VISA: Are we bound to live with our relative sponsor designated area or I can move to any of the designated areas within Australia? Any guidance would be welcomed! Candygirl
You do not have to live with your sponsor or live in the same state for that matter. Your sponsor must presently live in a designated area (postcode on DIAC's website) and you must also live in a designated area. Good Luck. msaad
Any clue regarding following:unsure: There is a requirement of 12 months work experience in order to be eligible for subclass 887 (PR) through 489 (Provisional), my question is that: can the work experience be gained in any field or only in your nominated occupation which you have mentioned in 489 VISA? To meet the requirements for the 887 PR visa, you need to have been living in a designated area for 2 years and been working for at least 12 months. The working provision can be two part time jobs or one full time job and does not have to be in your nominated occupation.
