First of all i would like to appreciate the way forum members here help out and provide valuable information and guidance.
My case is bit complicated and I am confused whether I fall under the eligibility criteria of skilled - Sponsored subclass 190 or not or even under 189. I have 2 of my brothers living in Australia, one has citizenship and other holds PR and both are currently employed in Australia. I can easily get points for sponsorship from a relative for my application. (10 points here)
In addition to this I have scored overall +7 band in IELTS which is also a prerequisite for my occupation to have minimum of 7 band. (10 points here) . I am currently under 25-32 age slab. (30 points here)
Currently I am ACCA member and having BSC (HONS) in applied accounting from Brookes Oxford - First Class Honors. I went to ACCA after getting exemptions from another qualification (even though it gave my only 3 papers exemptions in ACCA hence substantial part of ACCA was covered through sitting in exams). So hopefully i meet the education requirement as well. (15 points here)
I have practical experience of 3-4 Years with Deloitte, Big4 accountancy firm and also have the experience certificate from my firm, which was also used to gain ACCA membership - having requirement of 3 years of experience. All of this experience i have gained is under the requirement of Institute of Chartered of Pakistan - ICAP, which requires 4 modules with following subjects to be cleared/passed before you can start your contract with a chartered accountancy firm:
Module A:
A-1 Functional English
A-2 Quantitative Methods
Module B:
B-3 Introduction to Economics and Finance
B-4 Introduction to Financial Accounting
B-5 Mercantile Law
Module C:
C-6 Financial Accounting
C-7 Taxation
C-8 Business Communication and Behavioral Studies
Module D:
D-9 Company Law
D-10 Cost Accounting
D-11 Auditing
D-12 Information Technology
I have claimed my exemption in ACCA on basis of above subjects and then completed my ACCA while gaining the practical experience under chartered accountancy firm under my previous ICAP-Chartered Accountancy (which i have not completed yet as final papers are pending to be passed). ( May be 5 points; which I am unsure about or even if i fall under skilled immigration scheme or not)
Any assistance would be welcomed with regard to my case. looking forward to the forum members for assistance.
