How you finding it out there? we're loving it!! The autum weather is beautiful, loving the outdoor life, the fresh fruit and veg is divine. It isn't perfect, traffic is a mare and education system doesn't live up to that of UK but overall we feel like we've done the right thing looking forward to buying our own home to make it feel more like home. We have been here since April, husband a bit longer due to work. We havnt met up with any other families as yet and would like to chat and see how other brits are finding life in the west. We have looked at other statements from members and we'll look on facebook. Gill, Wayne, Sam 16, Dominic 11 and Liam 20 to join us later, would like to meet up wherever. Hi allBeen here in Sanctuary Lakes for 6 weeks now but struggling to meet people locally. Where is everyone?? Hardly seen our neighbours at all. My name is Catherine, my husband is Billy and we have 3 children Steven aged 16 (nearly 17), Callum aged 11 and Sarah 19 (who is still in the UK).. I am there every single day shopping!!! How about meeting on Monday or Tuesday?? I am working as a midwife and work only nights but am off Monday and Tuesday next week.
