Melbourne F1 GP

I really hope this happens, I think a better deal could be done between Bernie and Vic, I plan on moving to Melbourne in September, to have a home town GP for me would awesome!

Ecclestone is only keen on lining his pockets, he doesn't give a damn that it stays in Melbourne, despite what he's saying to the press.

Oh its all about money, there is no doubt that, everything is these days, more in sport than anything else. But I love F1 despite that, and if a better deal can be done, I do believe that a race can help the local economy. However, if you dont like F1, your never going to want the race there.

Im not sure about helping the local economy, doesnt it cost Melbourne millions every year ?

Well that's the thing, it did and also continues to keep Melbourne on the global stage along with the Tennis etc., but the fee has been going up the last few years, I new deal could balance it out though. I normally have to go abroad for a GP, to have one I can get a train to would be amazing as I'll be holidaying in OZ for pretty much forever, a GP would be my one treat of the year.
