jsc77 Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 Hi All, A bit of a specific query here, that I'm hoping someone can help with. My family and I have a 175 visa granted in December 2010. In March 2011 we moved to Sydney, however, for one reason and another, the time was not right for us, and we returned to the UK in June of the same year. We are now starting to think about the possibility of returning to Oz, and are exploring our options. I'm hoping someone can help with these questions. If any more info is needed, please let me know. 1. Does our short stay in 2011 act as activation of our visa? 2. Does this mean we are free to return to Oz, with no additional paperwork required, up until the visa expires in December 2015? 3. If we enter before this date, what happens when the visa expires, assuming we have not been there long enough to apply for citizenship? I assume we still have right to stay, as the visa says right to remain indefinitely? I'm a bit confused by the implications of the visa expiry date. 4.
